Loan qualification
All loans are subject to application, credit review, income and asset verification, acceptable appraisal and title, program requirements, lender underwriting, and final approval. VA eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Not all applicants will qualify. Additional restrictions and state licensing limitations may apply.
VA loan information
A VA loan may allow qualified borrowers to finance up to 100% of the home’s reasonable value, but no-down-payment availability depends on entitlement, eligibility, lender approval, property eligibility, and applicable limits. Closing costs and prepaid items may be due. A VA funding fee may apply unless the borrower is exempt. The VA does not set consumer interest rates or guarantee that a borrower will receive a loan.
